How's the treadlife on the Terra Grapplers? I had Nittos on an old jeep years ago but didn't drive much.
Right now I can get some 20" Terra Grapplers on the Tire Kingdom website buy 3 get 1 free. That's like 400 bucks cheaper than discount before installation. It might be worth it to get em just cause the price. Anyone else have em on their ride?
I have Terra Grapplers on my truck and have been very happy with them. They were on the truck when I bought it and thought they were pretty worn out, but a year and 12K miles later they have hardly worn from what they were when I bought it. I will be replacing them before winter and I will most likely be replacing them with another set of Terra Grapplers.
Also, I haven't compared the ratings on 20" tires, but in 18" the Terra Grapplers seem to have higher weight ratings than other tires. 295/70/18 are rated for over 4000 lbs each.
I have run Nitto on two trucks. I was not thrilled with their longivity so I changed to the Wild Country All Terain XTX and am getting better handling and less wear.
I bought a used set of terra grapplers and love them! What I have noticed is the traction does not decrease with wear. The front set is 75% worn and still gets good traction. I will be replacing them with the same thing this fall.
