Remote Start Question

I have one of those remote start key fobs. Now on my old 2010 F150 I used it and it would turn on the air settings to where I left them last time I shut it off.

The 2011 F250 seems to just turn on the motor, but no interior items come on. As in, no air or climate comes on. I like turning it on from my office window, so when I get out to the truck its nice and cool inside.

Am I missing something in the settings? of is this how the F250 diesels all work?

leave your climate control in "AUTO" and it works, even turns on your A/C seats if you got them (or heated seats in the winter below 40(?) degrees).

fyi It also works with ac set on max (recirc) doesn't have to be in auto...

but my seats won't come on or any dash lights, and can't imagine it's not hot enough in dfw to warrant it
just the engine, minimal running lites, and ac or heater --

It's misleading that nothing lights up when you remote start the truck, but it is on.

Also, there's a whole ambient temp function too, warmer than 80 (or whatever it is) and everything turns to max cold no matter, below 32, everything is on max warm no matter what.

It makes no difference what the HVAC settings were when you turn the truck off. The system functions as described below.
