Big enough to splice it in to a new bed and retain the mounting points for the plastic and the fuel door. I'd need a big enough section to add a fuel door to a bed without one. I'd like the plastic and the door as well. If I had to guess, I'd say 4-5" all around the opening would be sufficient.

 

I found the tailgate hinges yesterday at the scrap yard. But I still need the window regulator.

Hey 351coupe, its a 79 F150 Ranger XLT 4x4 with a 400. Not sure of the shaft length but I do know that a 2wd tranny wont work because the output shaft is to short. Hopefully that helps a little.

 

Any idea on a price for the portion of the bed and the fuel door and ineer door? It would be even better if you have the part from the front tan, but they are the same as best I can tell.

 

do you have the driveshaft from the tranny to the TC? need one for a c-6.

Lrdvdr-The bed is so rotted,I can't even cut a couple of inches around door.It's rusted right to it.Unbelievable.

The only ones I have were from 4 speed trucks.

I'd still take what's there, if you have the fuel door and the plastic that goes inside. I can use it to form up the part I need easier than going back and forth to the truck I have.
