Mine is a '06, I have the latest flash, and I've never heard the vanes sweep ....

 

They will buy whatever you tell them as long as it is somethings "wrong" with a Ford. I've had at least a dozen Chevy guys ask me what is wrong with my turbo.

 

You should tell them it the ghosts of Mustangs pasted
that want to get up and RUN

That your turbo is just telling you it's time to go play beat the CHEVY.

IIRC my 2003 Been sweeping the Veins since I got it in 2005 and Im not tunned

It did have a surge issue at 06 maybe 07 I have no Idea what they did to it warrenty deal but thats about the only time Dealer could have updated the stratigy

But Im thinking it always did sweep veins since I had it

I am wondering if the EGR valve is unplugged it wont do the vein sweep at Idel

 

So, what has Matt said when you e-mailed to ask if he tunes with a turbo sweep?

 

I havent asked him haha, ill email him and see what he says, i kinda like the turbo sweep, sounds pretty sweet

 

When my truck is idleing I hear a difference in the idle and then I hear a hissing noise that comes and goes, like something is opening and closeing that sounds like it is coming from the turbo...could this be the vanes sweeping?

 

I noticed this noise after I had the hpop done...but Im not sure if it did it before the work was done or not, or if I have some sort of leak somewhere.
