Exhaust Leak or Lifter....

Well guys, I pulled off my valve covers a couple weeks back thinking i had a loose lifter...nope...not the case...

So i'm here with a video to showcase my problem...

20120717_140958.mp4 - YouTube

I dunno if i can embed videos or not.

Thanks...all input is appreciated.

It's a 93 f-150 with the 5.8L...and on an unrelated or related....my stock oil pressure gauge has no reading while the truck is making this noise....it seems like it's a pretty sporadic issue so it can't be narroed down to one thing or another.

This is totally exhaust. Check the EGR riser tube also, as someone in my posted thread suggested.

while the engine is running (and the truck is in park with the ebrake on) stick your head in/around the passenger side and the the driver side wheel well above the tire. If you have a manifold leak it will be much louder on the leaking side. If there is no difference then triple check that egr riser. If the truck is running really rough then check to make sure you don't have a failed spark plug that is venting. I had that 2x. Blew the porcelain out of the metal sleeve and had to extract the sleeve from the engine block with a bolt extractor, no fun.
