Not much, just pushes air into the cats for better reaction of whatever. But if you take the pump out, you'll need an idler in it's place or you might be able to run a shorter belt. Or just take the pump out and gut it, if you don't mind it hangin out down there.

Must add if it froze it will freeze again and will strand you w/o a water pump when it takes the belt out... address this

I found the map sensor and yep it was missing the vacuum hose. It runs much better now. I am still lacking power though kinda like a weak fuel pump. I ordered a pressure tester so tomorrow I will check that. What should the pressure be?

30-33psi at idle (depending on the vacuum reading) and about 40psi at WOT.
If you pull the vacuum line off the FPR with it at idle it should go to about 45psi.

I am about 90%to sure the fuel pump is weak. I will know for sure tonight. Will a pump from a 95 f150 with 302 work.
