Nominations/Volunteers For Maryland Chapter Leader
This Thread is for Maryland Chapter members only. All others replying will be promptly removed

Please do not Nominate me, I do not wish to be Chapter Leader.
If you do not vote, or volunteer by August 1st the Chapter will no longer have a chapter leader, and will be put on automatic.
The rules for this thread are as follows:
1) Before nominating someone, be certain that they will accept the position.
2) Volunteers/Nominees please introduce yourself, provide a brief detail of what you do, where you live, and add your first name to your signature (if it isn't already there).
3) You must be a Maryland Chapter member and resident to make a nomination or volunteer for the position.
4) Participation in this thread is limited to Maryland Chapter members who are residents, and site staff.
5) Please keep on topic. Any off topic postings in this thread will be promptly removed

To select a Chapter Leader: After notifying a Regional Chapters Moderator, a thread in your chapter forum shall be opened for 30 days to take nominations from willing candidates to fill the position.
I do believe that that requirement has already been open for about 6 months!

^^^and that's exactly why we do it this way. The wording of the guideline may be vague, but it was never our intention to create a situation where someone could come in on day #30 (or after day #30, for that matter) and automatically get installed just because nobody had been nominated or volunteered previously
