throttle cable

My dad just broke his throttle cable on his f150. His is got the 300 but i got one out of my parts truck that had a 302. Are they the same length and will it work. Thankyou

What year parts truck? What model parts truck?

I attempted to fix my 302 with a throttle cable off a 300, it didn't fit, they are only $20 at most auto parts stores.

It was a 94 f150 with a 300. The parts truck was 95 f150 with 302 and we did use that throttle cable and it worked just fine not sure ehy yours didnt work but it fit perfect on our truck

Mine was not long enough.....idk man, maybe different lengths for different years.

Maybe not sure why it wouldnt be the same hooked up perfect on my dads truck
