New truck to me. Where is this wire connect?

I recently purchased a 87 F250 XLT Lariat with a 460 and am running into previous owner woes. I've just finished replacing the passenger side exhaust manifold gasket and 6 broken bolt...that was fun?!?!? So I am finished (almost again) putting it back together but can't remember/find where this wire connects. From schematics I have viewed, it looks like it's suppose to go to the carb? It's white with a black stripe, comes out of the loom by the alternator plugs. I've tried to get a couple pics attached, but am drawing up a huge stupidity leak. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Charlie

Yes! That's what the diagram said. HAHA, what is it and where would it be? I had a guess but I think I am wrong because, well, it's me.

The choke heater is inside the black housing (about the size and shape of a snuff can) on the passenger side of the carb.. IF it still has the original carb.. That plug could be an orphan if the carb doesn't have the heater..

Sweet! Orphan it is. I wondered why it didn't seem familar. I greatly appreciate the help you guys. This carb stuff is so much more complex to me than playing with the fuel injection and nitrous on both my Mustangs. Thanks again!!!!
