(shaking head)
This crap is why the new diesels now have a 300lb $2000.00 exhaust system on them now.
I'm all good for a good coal roll but people like you that just wanna run around town blowing smoke everywhere just need to be kicked in the nuts maybe twice.
If you wanna smoke sell your truck and go buy you a old 12 valve cummins it'll smoke from the time you start it till you shut it off

Boy, what a bunch of ... well, never mind.
What's it to you guys if he wants to roll coal? Let him do what he wants with his own truck. This is a free country.
Sheesh. For a moment there, I thought I was in Benzworld's forum.

He can go blow all the smoke he wants, it is his truck and he can do what he wants, but for the guys trying to get people to stop doing that, why would we want to help him hurt us? We wouldn't want to do that.. It's much more fun to out run that Dodge that's smoking it's a$$ off while not blowing any or very little smoke.

Bonfire... with gasoline......
Seriously?, with fuel prices this high you want to waste fuel? Aside from the idiocy of burning fuel just for black smoke, what make you think it is useful to roll coal?
You need maturity, fast.

I am too. He told me that he could crank it up some more but there is no point in dumping fuel that I can't burn.
After I get the s366 put on I'll do some data logging and send it to him with the chip and he will build my tunes from that.

In all fairness, none of us who have done injectors or chips are innocent in the smoke department. My truck smokes a lot if I let it in the drag race tune. The street race tune smokes a little more than it used to as well. The thing that kind of gets on my nerves is the guys out there that are just going around blowing smoke in traffic, in cars windows on purpose, on people on the side of the road, etc.
I'm not going to say that I never blow any smoke. I do, whether it be on purpose on a back road somewhere with nobody around, on a drag strip, or just accelerating in my street race tune and I get into it a little before the turbo spools. I just don't drive around trying to blow smoke all over everyone all the time like the OP seems to want to do.

Man just enjoy your diesel I just bought a 1997 7.3 and love it the way it is. Sounds good looks good and runs good stock. A guy I know did all that stuff to his and when he starts it black soot blows out of the stacks and gets all over the truck what a mess!
