92 f150 stereo...cant put anything anywhere haha

So, i have a 92 f150 and i have a new radio in it. traded an old vehicle and got a 10 disc cd changer. Went to mount it under the back seat...god forsaken seat is too low haha. Can't mount under the front bench seat, that's too low too. Im completely stumped on any other places.

And, also, if you have helped me in the past on this site i appreciate it. With my wedding coming up I have time to figure out whats up with the truck and fix it, but not enough to hop on and thank everyone. You all have helped me save myself a ton of money with mine and yours Know how. thanks so much everyone its all greatly appreciated. (even my fiance would thank you if she knew how much i saved, she hates that i always get on here haha)

What are the dimensions of the CD changer?

I have a 92 f150 single cab. I use to have 2 12'' subs behind the bench seat. I had to move the seat up a couple notches to fit them behind the seat.

Does your truck have the folding arm rest in the middle of the bench seat? will it fit in that slot were the arm rest goes?

Trade out that bench seat for some bucket seats.

Man other then that there is hardly any room in the truck....Recommend saving up and investing in a MP3 player that you can just plug up to your head set.

good luck on your marriage

its the extended cab, and nope, no center console sadly. And thats what ive been trying to talk the woman into, new(ish) bucket seats haha. the cd changer is maybe...1o inches wide, 8 inches long, and maybe 4 inches tall.

Doesn't fit under any seats, won't fit behind back seat, doesn't want to work anywhere. But I did just come into owning a small audiovox head unit. but im running 8 speakers and my pioneer does it awesomely. but, i just might look into swapping the 2 of them.

And thanks i appreciate it, i just might need some luck haha never know

I had a 95 F150 Flareside ext cab once and the factory cd changer was mounted in the rear drivers side arm rest. You might look into that. But I agree Topliat you can get a Sony MEX3800BT on Ebay for $118 its mp3, ipod and bluetooth, I own 2 of them and highly recommend.
Good Luck on your marriage, Been 32 years and 3 great daughters wouldnt trade it for anything

I'll go out and look at that spot and see if I cant get her to fit. thats my goal, too many divorces in my family. Just stay with someone, not too good with lawyers anyways...

Check the junk yards for bucket seats and a center counsel.

They used to make a lift kit to raise the extended cab rear BENCH seat. It would raise the seat either 2 or 4 inches, I dont remember. Once the seat is raised up you shoud be able to mount the changer under the seat. I would check with JC Whitney or other similar places.

Well, what me and my woman were thinking on doing was taking the jumper seats out of her ranger and removing the back seat from the f150. then we have the center open.
