ok folks i got a 92 f150 with a 302 that has 170000+ miles on it that need rebuilt i was thinkin bout trying to make it a roller motor ie roller bearings instead of flat bearings any and all thoughts and advice is welcome
Roller blocks were introduced 88 in the pickups so even if it isnt a roller motor it can be, but im almost positive it was 92 that they began producing ford trucks with the roller cams.
a roller motor ie roller bearings instead of flat bearings
FYI.. A "roller motor" uses roller lifters on a machined steel cam instead of flat lifters on a cast cam, it's got nothing to do with bearings which are the same for both motors.
