Smile Tip For The Day, Great Use For Old Cushions

I'm sure some of you have already thought of this.

Don't throw away any old cushions.

I almost threw away two old patio chair cushions.

This sure makes it easier on the stomach and chest.

Quite an enhancemen to the moving pad I have been using.

I have one in the truck and one in the garage.

I'm going to check some thrift stores for a small crib mattress. That would be perfect.

I agree. Cushions, combined with the work platform make a perfect Redneck top side creeper.

The best thing I ever saw was at Smokin' in the Smokies. BDrummonds had an old high density foam pool float. The ones that are PVC coated, about 2-3 inches thick. I have been looking for one ever since. I don't want to spend the $100+ for a new one, but if I see an old one laying around at a buddies house or going to the dump, she will be mine.

I've been using an old RV dinette cushion that my father-in-law gave me ever since we changed out the sparkplugs on his '99 F150 5.4. It's got a few small holes in it, so I covered it with some HD trash bags.

I've had a couple of these roofing shingle pads leftover from some roofing projects about 12 years ago. They work incredibly well for top-side as well as laying under the truck.

Ask Pete (Duck Fan) he loves the pad.

Looks like it's selling for $26 bucks. http://www.bigrocksupply.com/store/p...ingle-Pad.html

I wouldn't have put it quite that way Stewart but yeah, it makes things 100% more comfortable.

My buddy has a topside creeper that I used when I did my injectors. I loved the thing so much I decided I need to get one for my shop. This is the one he has TOPSIDE CREEPER 1-00020 is now part number 3-100 | Northern Auto Parts

If you look around you can find them for under $200 with shipping. I even found some plans to build your own when I was searching.
