My 26 row 6.0L cooler should arrive today. I was going to use the advanced auto parts discount code to order more Mobil 1 Tranny fluid. Does anyone know how many more quarts the 6.0L holds than the standard V10 tranny cooler?

Is it a sad statement about my life that I am waiting for this as anxiously a child waits for Santa in Christmas Eve????

 

My guess is one or two more. I've never measured how much fluid it holds.

 

Heck no! I find as I got older, the UPS guy became my "Santa"!

 

X2 wish "Santa (UPS guy)" was bringing me a 6.0L tranny cooler. After our Black Hills vacation I can honestly say the only thing I feel the truck needs is that 6.0L tranny cooler. I was surprised the tranny temps got up to 200-210 not towing driving up to Mount Rushmore. Wonder what they would have been had I had that cooler.

 

i have a 31 row cooler sitting in my garage waiting to be put on. i bought it used and flushed it with water, then acetone, then drained upside down fora week, then filled with tranny fluid til i can get it on. it held about 1.75qts total if i rememer right.....hope this helps
