Looking for anyone who might have an idea what's wrong with our truck. First, it has about 170k, but the engine only has about 100k and the transmission about 80k (already had that fun). The plugs have NOT been replaced since at least 60k (it was my wife's truck before we married... or this would not be the case ). Coils (all) were replaced via Ebay last year. Engine seems to sputter and check engine light flashes and then stays on. Codes are p0304 (cyl 4), p0355, p0356 and p0358. I have a feeling that coil 4 went bad again (typical from what the posts say here) and we are seeing the back plugs on the other cylinders as part of this? Any other thoughts? Ready to bring to the dealer tomorrow, but the cost is probably outrageous!

I also assume it's not the harness, since it's both sides of the engine. Could be PCM?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Update in case anyone else has the same issues: We were able to get plugs 1-3 and 5-7 off (all but the back ones). 6 broke off and the NAPA Ford broken spark plug tool worked great to get it out. Plugs 4 and 8 would only spin at the end of the thread and could not be pulled out at all (or broken). Decided to tighten them back down and have the dealer replace those. Ran like crap all the way there, but not sure if this is the only issue left. Stay tuned.
