Referral needed for exhaust shop and diesel specialist near Hamilton ON?
I need a new turbo exhaust downpipe installed on my truck and have been getting lots of "deer in the headlight" looks from shops that are unable to take on the job. I've got other stuff needing to be done as well- minor engine maintenance items.
Can anyone direct me to someone that can handle exhaust on a Heinz 57 style truck, crewcab longbox, within Hamilton or up to a 90 minute drive? Kitchener-Waterloo, Niagara, Guelph/Cambridge, London, Brantford, Tronna are all reasonable choices.
Truck is F350 1988 2wd auto cab grafted onto a 1988'ish 4x4 automatic frame with a 1994 7.3L turbo diesel idi pre-june with a 5 speed, hence the Heinz 57 nature of the beast.
thanks

Go to the Ford truck shop & ask the techs if they know any body that works on the side...... maybe one of them will do it or set you straight, good luck

I would think you can just go to the auto supply store, and order exhaust parts for the 94 truck. the frame and the cab are the pretty much the same as the 88. The only difference in the frame, is up front where the bumper goes on. I have a 89, a 90, 3-94's and a 95, so I know this to be true
