Make sure the wires are hooked up right to the coil. Test to see if your're getting power to the coil. With my luck, "It would of probably be me forgetting to plug the battery back up."
I'm no expert but sometimes those wires that connect to the coil look like they are pushed in all the way but their not. You think that you're getting power to the coil but the wire is just not pushed in all the way. I had a similar issue with my f150. 2 small wires that push into the coil with one of those wires not pushed all the way in...
If you're getting power to the coil does it make any sound when you turn the motor over? Does the starter turn the motor over? Any clicking noises? Any thing that you can describe that you see or hear would help.
