1992 Ford F250 Rear Freeze Plug

I have searched around online and have not noticed any size where someone has mentioned the size of the rear freeze plugs on a 92 351W? I would like to know what they are before I put in the effort to lift the engine. If someone could help that would be greatly appreciated.

If you are going to pull the engine, I would go to the parts store and buy a whole set of freeze plugs and replace them all.

The set wasn't that expensive, maybe $8-$10 when I rebuilt my 400 a few years ago.

Well i'm not planning on pulling the whole engine just lifting it to the replace the plug. If not, I would just get the whole set.

Okay, bear with me it has been a few years since I saw the back of a 351 Windsor.

I can't remember any freeze plugs in the back of the block (except for the cam plug), Is your leaking one the one in the head? If it is measure the one in the front of the opposite head, if you can get to it behind all the brackets.

Sorry I can't be more help,

Robert
