1967 only parts list Does one exist?

Hiya Gang!

So, as I was thinking of purchasing my '67 Camper Special last month it was mentioned that there are myriad one year only parts for this truck. I have read in different threads about the hood being one year only and I think I read the spindles are one year only. I know the master is because I had to replace it last weekend. Thankfully it wasn't prohibitively expensive and readily available through several online retailers. I was wondering if anyone had compiled a list of parts that only fit the 1967 trucks. Can someone steer me there if it exists? If there isn't a compiled list feel free to make additions here. I'd like to be BOLO as I travel a bit. Might find something need now or I'd like to keep in inventory for future use one day!

Door handles (and by extension the doors), heater controls, hood badges, interior rearview mirror, engine should be a 352 if it's an FE.

I have read in different threads about the hood being one year only and I think I read the spindles are one year only.
Same spindles: 1965/67 F100/250 2WD // 1967/70 F350.

I know the master is because I had to replace it last weekend.
The hood is basically the same 1967/72 F100/750. The original 1967 hood (C7TZ-16612-A) had slightly different cross bracing, and that's it.

Ford replaced C7TZ-16138-A with the 1968 hood C8TZ-16138-A. Then in 1970, replaced C8TZ-16612-A with D0TZ-16612-A = thus: 1967/72 F100/750. If you're a purist, you'd want to retain the original 1967 hood.

1967: You push the inside handles forward to lock the doors from the inside. 1968/72's have door lock *****.

1967 only: Door shells, window regulators, door lock remote controls, door latches and link rods, inside window and door handles, vent frames & handles, armrests.

Firewall, dash panel, radio & heater, instrument cluster back, brake & clutch pedals, bracket they suspend from. Master cylinders, P/B boosters, proportioning valves, low brake fluid warning lamp switch.

Hood side emblems, painted steel and anodized aluminum grilles. Ignition switch: C5AZ-11572-B same as: 1965/67 Galaxie/LTD/Thunderbird / 1966/67 Fairlane/Falcon / 1967 Mustang/Cougar.

Same 1967/72 door parts: R/L upper/lower hinges, outside door handles, door lock cylinders, door and glass weatherstriping, window & vent glass, division bars.

C3UZ-18495-A .. Heater Water Valve-Splices into inlet to heater core heater hose: 1965/72 F100/1100, 1963/67 E100.

1967, 1968 before serial number C56,001: The upper side mouldings are 1 1/4" wide // 1968 from serial number C56,001, 1969, 1970/72 Sport Custom: The upper side mouldings are 1 1/2" wide.

There are two different inside mirrors. 1967 before serial number A70,001: C5ZZ-17700-C .. Chrome (same as 1965/66 Mustang).

1967 from serial number A70,001, 1968/69: C7OZ-17700-C .. Day/Night-Black vinyl, paint to match (same 1967 Fairlane/Falcon).

I think the ash tray rails are different too. It seems like someone on Fordification ran into that. Also the interments are not printed circuit IIRC, like the 68 and later.

Since the dash is 1967 only, so is the ash tray which doesn't have rails. Ashtray with rails and ball bearings: 1968/72.

1970 was the first year for printed circuit boards. 1970/72: There are two types, one for oil/amp gauges, one for oil/amp warning lights.

1970 F100/350 & Econoline 1970 only: D0TZ-10K843-A with oil/amp gauges / D0TZ-10K843-B with oil/amp warning lights.

1971/72 F100/350 & 1971/74 Econoline same: D1TZ-10K843-A with oil/amp gauges / D1TZ-10K843-B with oil/amp warning lights.

I don't mean to hijack this thread... My 1970 F350 Tow truck has a warning light dash. Can I simply swap out the dash for a gauge dash?

Me Too....

I had my 67 long/wide for years now... didnt get serious on buildin it till about a year ago... (lost my left leg in a bike wreck exactly a year ago its hell doin it from a wheelchair.... but.... got the 86 302 outa a murcury marque installed with the rod controled 84 AOD trans... hind sight being 20/20, wish id kept the FI... but all I had was a 2V and no money for the harness to keep the FI... had to build the linkage for the TV rod on the carb as I was told by every parts house (includn the ford house) that there is no such setup like that from the factory.... anyways, long story short, cant find any source for the heater control *****, the interior trim (one little corner piece) on the headliner metal trim, and the list goes on and on.... bout to swap to P/S and P/B.... reckon gonna have to fab everything up... got chrome shorty headers off a 5.0 fox body on it, dont think theres enough room for the steering box now... but, yes.... a 67 only parts reference would help.... theres more knowledge on here yu can shake a stick at, but when ya start off with a "one year only" truck then put a engine/trans combo that was never built in it, it can be a bitch figurin it all out.....
GE
(edit) btw, LMC has quite a bit of 67 stuff in it...i.e. door handles, windowcranks, headlight bezels, ect.... Glad my "tinfoil thin" grill is flawless... try to find that one

1967/69 F100/350 headlight bezels (painted steel or anodized aluminum) are the same, except 1969 Ranger (anodized). But these will fit, as the only difference is: Are painted black surrounding the seal beam.

1967 F100/750 with deluxe Fresh Air heater: There are 3 holes in the dash below the radio where the heater cables are located.

C7TZ-17513-A .. Wiper Switch or Heater Blower Cable **** / 1967 F100/750 / Obsolete

B & L FORD in Ashland PA has 1 = 570-875-4417 / No other Ford Dealer, no obsolete parts vendor has any.

Not included: Blower **** bezel (C7TZ-18598-A) & nut (C1UF-18545-A) between **** and bezel.

If required, let me know, I'll see if anyone has any.
------------------------------------------------
C7TZ-18518-B .. Heater Temperature Control Cable and **** Assy (**** not available by itself) / 1967 F100/750 / Obsolete

ANTIQUE AUTO SUPPLY in Arlington TX has 1 = 817-275-2381.

GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has 1 = 800-543-4959.

WESLEY OBSOLETE PARTS in Liberty KY has 1 = 606-787-5293.

BOWMAN SALES & SERVICE in Bowman ND has 1 = 701-523-3257.

JST AUTOMOTIVE in Lebanon TN has 2 = 615-443-3086.
------------------------------------------------------
C7TZ-18552-B .. Defroster Cable and **** Assy (**** not available by itself) / 1967 F100/750 / Obsolete

GREEN SALES CO. has 1 / No Ford Dealer, no other obsolete parts vendor has any.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Headliner rear corner chrome mouldings are right/left specific.
Same 1967/68: F100/350 Custom Cab/Ranger & F500/750 Custom Cab / 1969 F100/350 Custom Cab/Ranger & F500/750 Custom Cab before serial number F50,001.
C7TZ-81517B94-A .. Right Rear Corner Chrome Mouldling / Obsolete
No Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.
--------------------------------------------------
C7TZ-81517B95-A .. Left Rear Corner Chrome Moulding / Obsolete
ANTIQUE AUTO SUPPLY has 1 / No Ford Dealer, no other obsolete parts vendor has any.
Be aware that there are TWO different 1983/86 Mercury Marquis: Mid-sized Fox (unit) body Marquis, basically a rebadged LTD / Full sized body on frame construction Grand Marquis, basically a rebadged Crown Victoria.
Thankfully mine is in fine condition too.... It has one dent that looks to have been done by something about the size of a small ball peen hammer on top in front of the hood release. Otherwise it could use a polish as the anodised finish is dull.
There seems to be a theme here.... This is the kind of information I was hoping to glean ND. I just hope to be able to spot '67s and harvest odds and ends "in case" especially with important parts. I still maintain that this truck has seen little use and, fortunately for me, almost everything on it works.
Anyone think of anything else? Hopefully this list will be useful to others as well!!
I've typed this "1967 only" list over 50 times here on FTE, so there will be some variations.
Most of this jazz I memorized decades ago, but every so often, have to consult the 1964/72 Ford Truck Parts Catalog (available on a CD from hipoparts.com).
For example, the heater parts I listed in post 9.
I still have a decent '67 grille from my last one I scrapped. Might have a few pieces left over too? Not much that I remember.
Hey there,
I'm not trying to bring up a post from the past, but would this mean a 1967 Ford F100 4x4 would not have came from the factory with oil / amp gauges,
or are you referring to only gauge clusters with circuit boards in that comment?
Appreciate all your information ND.
(I saved all this 67 info in a folder. )
