When Wiring you trucks, do you want to buy an all in one system or would you prefer some separation between the circuits so that if one goes down it doesn't take the rest with it ?

I'd like an override for any disabling circuit, but not a simple mechanical one such as a switch, unless it is a small microswitch attached to the case and the case can be hidden in an out of the way place (or maybe overridden with a sequence of pushes on the fob?). If I need to override it, I don't mind having to unscrew a kick panel or a seat for access, otherwise I'd like it to be integrated to keep the wiring to a minimum. It might be good if it could be disabled at the unit if that requires removal or shorting out of terminals rather than tracing and disconnecting the other end.
A mutifunction unit might include a headlight on alarm, auto headlight on-off, interior and/or headlight on upon unlock off when exiting delay. If a display is part of it, then time/temperature readout might be included or be an add on module. Display should NOT contain the control and any attempt to remove it (cutting the wires) should lock it out.
