Pig tail replacement for underhood light

Hey guys ive been serching and looking for either parts or a way to repair my underhood light pigtail. I have noticed since I got the truck the light never worked so I was doing some stuff today and figured ill look at it and see if it needs a new bulb or if the whole unit was bad. I pulled the bulb and it looked ok went to try to see if I got power to the unit and couldnt get a good angle at it. Long story short I went to pull the plug out and the wires broke off the plug and are not attached. I tried to see if I could disassembly the plug and add new connectors and some new wires but so far no luck. Ive looked for pigtails to just tie it in or anything to fix the problem so far I have not been sucessfull. Any help would be great. I would go to a dealer but there not any close enough to bother with and I would hate to go to a junk yard to get a plug
