I need to siphon my gas
My siphoning tube is made from 3/8" fuel line with a marine squeeze bulb. With my previous truck I could run my siphoning tube down the filler pipe, squeeze the bulb a few times and easily fill my chainsaw can or my generator.
That 90 degree fitting on top of the 2012 F250 tank prevents this.
I realize that the computer would be messed up regarding MPG, etc, but how is the best way to steal gasoline from myself?

Pulling the fuel filter and putting a hose over the fitting going to the tank should work. Turn the key to run and the fuel pump will pump the gas out. It would work on my 04' so I'm assuming it would work on your 12'. Would be a PITA to do. Never tried it myself, since gas cans have been invented.

Guys, I understand gas cans but I have had occasions when my chainsaw gas can has run low. I had another occasion when a kid on a 4 wheeler had run out of gas and I simply siphoned out enough for him to get home.
We travel with a truck camper and Honda EU2000 generator. There is no safe place to carry a gas can, so it was a simple matter to simply siphon and fill the generator tank.
dkf, you did offer a possible solution and I appreciate it. Install a "T" and shutoff valve in a convenient location. Maybe someone knows the "plumbing" well enough and can make a suggestion as to where??

The fuel filter on the '11+ gas trucks is in the tank, one of those lifetime "non-serviceable" jobbies.

Maybe you weren't speaking directly to the SD's (hood lights and trans dipstick are present!) but I get what you're sayin' and feel the same way. I hated not being able to check the trans fluid on our old POS Explorer, and of course what ends up happening, grenaded the trans with ~50k miles on it.
