Things to watch for???

My truck is an 02 Supercrew with the 5.4, 4 wheel drive etc.

It now has roughly 175K miles on it and seems to be doing fine.

Just wondered what experience others have had as they approach 200K miles.

Any issues that seem common with these trucks?

Things to watch out for and maybe change out before they leave me on the side of the road?

Randy

I have an 02 screw as well.
Spark plugs coming loose are common with these 2 valve Tritons..If you pick up a miss fire or hear what seems like a tick, check for a loose plug.
I caught one on my wife,s 4.6 and there were a few more loose. They are only holding by 4 or 5 threads.
Exhaust manifold studs, especially right rear, are known to break.Stainless steel
replacement studs are the way to go.
Timing chain guides have been known to break off as well.
I think that truck might be under a fuel tank strap recall ,you can click recalls/TSb's on top of the page.
In spite of all this I'd take my screw anywhere without worry.
Thats all I can think of for now, maybe someone else will chime in.
