Fuel In Coolant

This afternoon I discovered that my coolant reservoir was overflowing. I opened the cap an noticed it was over-full with diesel fuel. I removed about a quart of diesel fuel off the top until it looked like just green coolant. Any words of advice where to start to look for a leak? Was planning to pull the motor within the month to replace the oil pain, rear main seal and flywheel/clutch. Oh its a 99 7.3, 260,000miles....Thanks for any input!

Generally fuel in coolant is due to cracked injector cups. You wouldn't have to pull the motor to replace them, but if you were going to anyway, it would be very easy.

Clay has them in stock, and also has a special tool Riffraff Diesel: Motorcraft 7.3L Injector Cup Kit

Ok thanks for the info! This truck is not a daily driver just a work truck that get used sometimes once a week. I was planning on pulling the motor and doing other work anyways. Thanks again!
