Sometimes I wish that the Owasso Post Office would install those tire shredding spikes at the exit to their lot. I hate that people will prevent you from exiting while they are entering the exit.

I hear ya. That's part of the reason i try to go there during their off hours, when the parking lot is empty. I love dealing with the automated machine instead of the molasses slow workers behind the counter.

Why do people drive at night with no lights? See it a couple times a month and getting more frequent. Just tonight saw someone trying to turn left into the QT at 96th/Garnett, and the only reason we knew the car was there was because of the turn signal.

Seriously, on a dark road, and you can't see your dash lights wouldn't that make one wonder why?

The other day (before time change) my wife almost cut someone off because they were driving with no lights. Several people also did the same thing to the same car. This was when it was still dark in the morning.

Be careful on the roads at night in Owasso. Almost broadsided some jerk coming out of the QT @96th/Garnett. Driver had no lights on, about 8:00pm.

For those that know your Owasso history...

What was the name of the lawn and garden place that was next to Kinball's?

They sold some quality stuff and did repairs on equipment.

Not only is it December already, it is ~1/3 of the way through the month. In fact, in less than 2 weeks we'll have the winter solstice, the darkest day of the year. And yet, here in Okiehoma we've not had cold weather, much less snow. Boy, I'd love to see a good old snow storm - after my grandkids get here.

My brother in KS reports no snow. Guess we aren't getting any either.

Oh man, i cant remember. That was the only place i used to take my chainsaw chains to get sharpened, and to get miscellaneous edger and lawnmower parts. I dont know where they moved to? I remember when Kimballs used to be Ace hardware, and the only hardware store in town. It was kinda sad to see the "little man" go as Lowes and Home Depot came into town.

After much searching and asking, found the name of the place. It was Baily's, and were thinking that maybe PK bought them, as they both carried John Deere products.

As far as small engine repair/chain sharpening, most people I know go to JR's on the intersection of Memorial and 116th.
