1976 F150 Supercab with the CV front suspension?

I am working a deal on a 1976 F150 short bed supercab. It is a stock 460 truck.

After putting some 20s wrapped in 32s on my 79 Short bed I am liking the way it looks.

I am thinking long and low on the supercab.

My concern is the extra weight on the front suspension.

Will it be able to hold the Supercab and the big block?
Would I be able to add some larger springs to make up for it?
Will I have any clearance issues for the steering components or anything?

Has anyone tried doing the Crown Vic swap on this chassis?

Read this write-up on CarCraft's Crown Vic build... they lowered it and have a source for different springs: Eaton Detroit Ford Crown Victoria Lowering Springs - Car Craft Magazine

''don't recall any FTE'er doing a CV retrofit on a S-Cab.

Anyone with any information on the CV front end on a supercab with a big block??!?!

I have a shot at getting a 06 Crown Vic dirty cheep and the truck soon.

I dont want to spend the money on the Vic if it is not going to work /:

Carcrafter dropped a 4 cyl diesel motor in his which weighs more than a big block and he said it barely squatted.
If I don't but some bigger wheels on my super cab I may just lower it a tad with the cv front end.
