Time for new tires, What's lasting?

Time for new tires, What's lasting?
I've burned thru a 2nd set of Michelin A/T2 tires. The factory first set got 28,000 miles second set got 32,000 miles. So I've got to decide do I buy a 3rd set of Michelins and use their Pro-Rated Tread Wear Warranty. The Michelins are one of the most expensive tires in the 275x65r20 size. Since they have a 60,000 mile warranty, I'll get about 45% off the new tires.
Or do I switch out to another tire. Not too worried about changing size. My truck is all stock. Don't want to put a lift or worry about tires rubbing.
So my question is. Those of you who have Worn out tires. How many miles did some of the brands give you and how do you drive ( Tow , highway, city etc) Not interested in "I've got 12,000 miles and my tires still look great" type of answers. Just the facts Like, I drove X number of miles and had 3/32" left so I replaced the tires.
I can buy Toyo, Nitto, Cooper etc much cheaper than the Michelins. So maybe the tread wear warranty doesn't amount to much.

I have 20k on my nitto all terains and still half tread. Most of the miles towing and I have a heavy foot. Very happy with the nittos we have three sets for 2 vehicles. At this point I will only buy nittos! I have owned most of the brands you can think of and will only speak highly of nitto (we have five vehicles sports cars to mud trucks to one tons).

I currently have 56,000 miles on a set of Bridgestone dueler a/t Revo 2 tires. Lots of interstate towing miles at 72-74psi. I rotate every 7500 miles, don't drive crazy.
I expect to get another 7-10,000 miles out of them. They are wearing perfectly and I'm not into the wear indicators yet. Getting real close though. Been great tires.

It's a shame that Toyo doesn't make their M-55 in a 20" size, but they own Nitto Tire, and up here we can buy a Nitto "HD Grappler" which looks identical, though I'm not sure what sizes they come in.
The Toyo M-55 is the best truck tire I've ever run, by a looooooooong shot. They do ride like iron-clad wagon wheels though.

I had the Toyo Open Country AT on my 2006 F350 and they only ran 28,000 miles. So they were no better than most other brands. I suspect with the extra 75HP of the 6.7L I'll wear them out as quickly on the 2011 truck if not faster.
But both the Toyo and Nittos are cheaper than new Michelins. But probably not cheaper after Michelin gives me the Pro-rated tread warranty on my exisiting tires.
I had a set of Goodyear Wranglers on my 2006. But they developed sidewall bulges at 16,000 miles. So not buying Goodyears.

My BF Goodrich factory tires got about 55K miles on them with my '06 truck, and about half that on my '11. I was told they were defective.
Had a set of Goodyear Pro-grade Road Armors on the '06 after the BFG's. These got about 55K also, but performed a lot better than the stock tires. Liked them.
Just switched to Cooper AT3's on the '11, but too early to comment on treadwear. Performance is good so far.
I've always had duallys, and I always gone slightly up in size when replacing tires to the 265 vs the 245.

I had a set of Michelin LTX MS 2"s and they wore and ran great. The AT/2''s were good. I now run a set of used conti TR's and they've been good. I tow both in winter and summer and plow my drive a lot here in Northern NH.
I do a lot of highway towing as well so no aggressive tires for me.

I'll be watching this thread for sure.
I went through 3 sets of tires on my '02 F350.
First set - I got about 90,000kms (56,000 miles) out of BF Goodrich A/T KOs and one of them delaminated, the other three still had decent tread left, I would have got well over 100,000 kms out of them if not for the failure. Traction and performance was good all around. I didn't tow a whole lot at that time, the truck was my dailer driver. I was bitter about the failure so I bought different tires to replace them, but in hindsight, these were the best set of tires I had on the truck.
Second set - Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo. I only got 35,000kms (20,000 miles) out of them, which was really disappointing considering the price. I did tow more with these tires though. Traction was great for the first 25% of tread wear, which wasn't all that long, but it dropped off drastically after that. I would NOT recommmend these tires and will definitely never buy them again.
Third set - Toyo Open Country A/T. They had 50,000 kms on them when I sold the truck (31,000 miles) and had maybe another summer in them, 8-10,000 kms at most. That wasn't too bad because they did a lot of towing, but not great either. They were good tires, traction was good and they were very predictable and consistent, but dollar for dollar, not worth the price in my opinion.
I rotate every 10,000kms (6000 miles) at the most, and I don't do a whole lot of off road driving, but I do put on a fair number of miles pulling a boat or a 5th wheel.
The Michelins on my 2012 are wearing pretty fast, I'm guessing I'll be lucky to get 50,000 kms out of them. Theyr'e great on the highway and wet pavement, but they're pretty sketchy in off road situations, especially mud, and I don't even have much confidence in them on gravel roads, wet or dry. We'll see how they do in the snow. So far I wouldn't pay the premium for them when it comes time to replace them. I've got my eye on the Cooper AT3, but there's some interesting options so far in this thread.

I stick with the BFG All terrian or Mud terrian as well. Last truck with 265-75-16 went 70k miles on a set of the mudders, replaced with the All terrians and put 55k miles on them when I sold the truck still had 6/32 tread. I check my alginment every spring as well-these trucks are not very sensitive to misalginment and will still drive well with the toe being out a little.
