Prices on the 6.2's?

I have an 08 f250 6.4 and am entertaining the idea of getting one of these 6.2's 2012 models. My warranty is almost up. Ive read they are coming off the 6.7's by about 8-12 thousand. How much are they coming off the sticker on the 6.2's?
Thanks

OP...

Very hard to compare the 6.2L with the 6.7L in sales price. Most dealers only have XL and XLT 6.2L. If lucky...you will have a small few to choose from.

With the 6.7L...they have so many on the lots. Making the deals with the 6.7L so much easier. Plus FORD rebates are higher on the 6.7L too.

In my case...I purchased my ordered 2012 F250 Lariat using the FORD X-plan. So...my pricing was set to the following about figures...

Now...these are NOT exact...but what I can remember...

MSRP minus $3555 with $2000 in rebates or $5555 Off. Dealer could only charge me $100.00 in doc/dealer fees.

Hope this helps...

Internet pricing can be a good way to go!

Good luck...

My dealer dropped the price on my 2012 6.2 XLT by $6K and that was on an ordered truck since they didn't have what I wanted in stock.

Mine stickered a bit over 47 and I ended up agreeing upon just over 40. I had X-plan in my back pocket, but I didn't need it because I actually got lower by a couple thousand. So there is room to play with on the 6.2s. It all depends on your dealer and their motivation.

If you can wheel and deal and get ~8k off of sticker, I think that'd be a good deal. A good deal is defined differently by everyone though, if you feel comfortable with the price you paid, then that's all that matters.

I don't have the time or patience to play the dealers numbers game so I used X plan as well as the additional $3500 in incentives/rebates. I think I was around $9k or so off of MSRP (not sure exactly, had a trade-in in the deal as well).
