I'm not sure when it fell here - but this morning when I let the Rufussness outside (He has finally busted so (D)'d many chains I keep him inside at night) I found the ground very well saturated with a serious soaker that must have come down for quite a while.
Big big change from the 100 - 105 dead humid air I was standing in yesterday, and my plants look like they popped up another 2 inches in just 24 hours from it!
*DEAD HUMID is what I call it when it's so humid sweat just dribbles uselessly down my body because it cannot evaporate to cool me down at all

We just got spritzed last night, but radar shows more headed toward the estate right now.
I know everyone wants the poop on my sewer saga, so I am happy to report that bathroom #1 is working wonderfully. Bathroom #2 gets all new pipes and connected correctly to the correct place TOMORROW. Nothing like clean pipes to make a house happy.

So you turn off the shower, and the toilet begins to constantly flush...
So you lift the lid on the potty tank - and all of a sudden a GEYSER sprays out of it!!!
I have a flush valve to replace at my place soon - it was waiting on a pig-tail to connect the water line to the outside on the bottom of the valve. It was originally plumbed with about 1/4" copper line, but that stuff is a mess to work with.
The replacement for that is a teflon line with a braided steel outer. Each end has a standard size threaded coupler that can be tightened down with a common adjustable crescent wrench.
No compression fittings, and no "Brain Compression" leading to potential migraines!

Thanks to all concerned about my pipes. I appreciate the good thoughts behind all those potty-mouths.
We got HAMMERED by the rain yesterday----3-4 inches in about 2 hours. Flooding on many streets in Chattanooga. It has been raining off and on all day today, as well. My yard has (of course) responded by shooting up about half a foot....oooof!
Hope everyone has a great day!
