I was out yesterday in the sun at the park for a few hours just screwing around. It was nice. Last night and this morning though, there was rain and lightning/thunder. Haven't seen those in a long time.

Afternoon peeps, It got a bit humid here. Not terrible though. I did get out and get some work done

Thanks to AutoZone, i bought a new air filter to go with my new intake/carb. Only issue is if i tighten it all the way it hits the throttle linkages and makes it hard to push the pedal. I'll fix it some time, for now i just gotta run it a bit loose. Total cost was just under $40, just for a 14" air cleaner. Though i am happy.

Chrome sets it off nicely, can't you shim the bottom of the breather so it doesn't seat that far down, in fairing with the linkage.

Dylan, that what I thought, Spectre Performance sells a kit it's on amazon,
10.95, adapters and riser kit, I think the number was #4950 !

Thanks, I will look into it. For now its fine, I don't have it tightened down completely but it is enough to make it safe. I was just going to look at where it hits and hit it with a hammer a few times. We will see

Good morning everyone. I hope you're enjoying the weather.

Looking forward to the weekend. The wife gave me permission to see my girlfriend on Sunday (my truck)...looking forward to finishing my maintenance activities and doing a good detail. Sure hope thenweather holds!
