1978 Ford F150 4x4 w/40,xxx original miles

Year: 1978
Make: Ford
Model: F-150
Price: $5500
Mileage: 40000
Color: Black
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): ME
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: 4WD & AWD
Color: Black
Engine: 400

I have a 1978 Ford F150 4x4 with 40,000 original miles. I bought the truck in New Hampshire 3 years ago from the third owner. The original owner had the truck until 2004 and it had sat in a garage for several years. The truck was still untouched when I bought it in 2009. It has never had any body work and is in original paint and a very solid truck. I put all new brakes and lines, fuel line, u-joints and fluids in the truck when I purchased it and the engine started knocking. I bought a rebuilt 400 from a buddy of mine and installed it in the truck with a brand new clutch this past year. It has probably a 1000 to 1500 miles on it. The engine has a new 600cfm Holley, Weiand aluminum intake, ported heads, rv cam, oil restrictors and high volume pump and Hedman headers into Dynomax Ultra Flow mufflers with stainless tips. It was dyno tuned and runs great. Along with the engine I put in an all aluminum radiator from Bronco Graveyard. The only rust on the truck is a few pin holes behind the rear passenger tire but the area is still solid. The frame has been blasted and painted. The truck also has brand new 31x10.5 General Grabber AT2's on new Black Daytona wheels. It has a 1977 Midland CB radio that the original owner installed along with an antenna in the bed. I just built and installed a pushbar and stainless KC Daylighter 130w driving lights. The truck is ready to go as is and just passed inspection this month in Maine with no issues. I have a ton of extra parts that can go with the truck for the full asking price such as an extra pair of solid doors, rust free hood and the original engine that has been machined and assembled in to a spare shortblock. Pictures can be seen in my gallery called "Time Capsule" Please contact me through PM or call/text my cell at 207-479-3534.

Chrome wheel arch trims

Hi there matey
On that pic with the green f-truck.... I was wondering if you remember or know where the chrome wheel arch trims came from. We don't get any good aftermarket gear like that over here in Australia and I think the ones you had look a lot better than the originals

Cheers bud,

Aaron

Thanks for that mate. I checked out the website, I can't believe how cheap parts are over there. So is that where you got your chrome wheel arch trims from?
