Does anyone know whether the bed bolt holes (size and location) in the truck frames of the following truck models are the same?
91 F250 7.3 extra cab XLT 2x4
03 F250 5.4 extra cab super duty 2x4

The beds are completely different, and none of the body lines would match at all.

What are you trying to do?

 

I am selling the utility bed I used to have on that 91. I found a potential buyer, but he does not know what is involved in attaching a utility bed to his 03. He asked whether the frames and mounting holes would be the same on his truck as on mine. I guess he wants to cut down on fab time.

There likely is some fabricating to be done to fit the bed though. That is typical for an utility bed right?
