I got gas at Sam's yesterday...they were the lowest at $3.10
Most other places were still at $3.15 to $3.19
Today they are at $3.45...theivery is right...NO F-ing reason for it other than GREED!
Most of our places mix with 10% alcohol too...the V10 HATES it and my mpgs show it!
I used to routinely get 8+ towing our TT...but as soon as I got into Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado and the likes that used 10% alcohol before we did...my mpg's would drop to like 7.5 or lower...I can understand a drop in Colorado with the altitude and mountain passes I'm pulling...but the others are all FLAT like Indiana...well mostly...so the only answer was the fuel additive...
Now they outlawed the additive MTBE...so alcohol is the "standard" additive...and their lobbyists are pushing for 15% additive...that will KILL small engines, boats and many older cars with all the rubber hoses and gaskets...not to mention the mpg hit we'll all take!

Morning South Dakota!
Independence Day is often a time for fireworks, barbecues and family as we celebrate the founding of the United States. But beyond the celebrations, this holiday should serve as a reminder to all of us that these privileges are not easily earned. For some 236 years we have enjoyed the freedoms won by our nation’s founders and preserved by generations of soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines and Coast Guardsmen.
On this 4th of July…everyone should take a moment today to reflect on the sacrifices made for us to enjoy such an amazing country and celebrate yet another birthday in this great nation of freedom!
Hope everyone enjoys the day...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!!!
Joe.

There's really no good solution to it Joe, you vote these bas.... in and they do the same as the previous ones, bend over and take it! Something has to be done! Your right about what the ethanol doing to the boating, that's all screwed up, pumps, hoses, such. What the answer
If all senators and congressmen were less than 2 terms...they all carry the SAME WEIGHT and aren't "connected" to the lobbyists like these career politicians worrying about getting re-elected...I mean...if you KNEW you only had 2 terms...you don't have to "cave" into the lobbyists and you can vote the way your constituents want you too!!!...instead these "career" politicians are worried about the PAC money to keep them in office term after term after term.
Everyone wants to blame the president (and I'm right there too)...but there are 2 other branches of our government...one is appointed for LIFE and the other seems to be elected for LIFE (okay huge generalization but you get my point)...I truly believe if we "leveled" the playing field and limited these b-stards to 2 terms max...we'd free up the log jam...just my $0.02
Joe.
