Why not just bring the giant fifth wheel and camp.

Only $20 a night for power and water easily offsets the extra fuel to get it here

Upside.

Sleeping in your own bed(sort of), commute back to said bed after some beverages is a short one, if wife has had enough and wants to leave just kiss her good night and wave to her as she walks the ten or twenty yards to get to said bed, wake up in the morning from said bed and wait for wife or hubby to make you a freshly brewed coffee to drink in said bed.

Hmmmmmm

In the past 4 or 5 years mostly I think for convenience because Arthur is a wonderful little town but there is not one motel/hotel room in it.
We started camping about 6 years ago and wouldn't do it any other way now.

Rick.

BTW, Arthur also has a Legion and Saturday night is all you can eat chicken wings.

Yepper 2 more sleeps and PARTY TIME!!!!!!! yea. We are still going for the two days, BUT on Saturday we will leave Cranbrook around 11am. I HAVE to stop in Mt. Forest. 1 of the girl friends has a birthday so I WILL not be forgiven if I don't at least stop in and have a beer or two with her. She is a sweetheart. ( she works with the Old Girl) Then off to Fergus to check in at the motel, THEN off to Arthur. Peg loves the swap meet as much as I do if not more. She can spot a part that I am looking for quicker and farther away than I can !!! LMAO AND PATIENCE.... that woman has MORE patience than carters have pills. She got that part from knowing me for 47 years. SO, we'll see you ppl there. Popa John

She hasn't been online since March, don't know what she's up to.

I just got back from a trip to Florida, almost got run off the road twice by people not checking when changing lanes, also almost got hit by a boat and trailer that came unhitched (and broke the safety chains!) from a pickup truck in Dayton Ohio.

So how was the show folks? My parents went, and took both of my sons with, but I wasn't able to make it myself this year. Good news is that I should be able to make it next year, since the Florida trip will be in the 1st or 2nd week of August next summer.

Was a great show. Tons of trucks they said there was over 170 trucks there. They had everything from Rangers scrapping the ground to monster trucks, and everything in between. We met PopaJon and his wife, saw Rick for a second but than couldn't find him for the rest of the day lol. I didn't win anything this year but that's ok it was great just walking around.
