I've been doing TONS of research.. I like to know what I have. Just like the 92-96 f150's, I know quite a bit about them as well. Or at least I like to think so.. In actuality I don't know squat!

probably didnt pay much attention to the frame itself... might want to check it out between the bushings... frame might be just as rotten lol...

hopefully you have either a big *** breaker bar or a impact gun... the body bolts are in there pretty good with alot of tq... and thread locker...

We have a pretty nice 1/2 inch impact. Also have the use of a friend's 3/4 inch impact. That sucker either breaks bolts loose, or breaks them off!

its for the newer model... but just did a quick perusal... was figuring if i did it id be using 1/8" A-36 steel... figure that should be thick enough lol.. figure if i make triangle braces to go with it - it should be good enough....

I would think that would work pretty well. 1/8" is pretty tough stuff. Could always box it in, too.
