Haven't hooked up the drip irrigation & that's one of the chores needing to be done. (GTG members know what I refer to) So that means twice daily "watering" of the flower jungle till I do...
Steve, man, pass along the best wishes to your wife from complete strangers who hope that gets better. Terri & I have been talking about making a day trip south and going to the Ohr-OKeefe Museum & maybe a late lunch/early dinner at Mary Mahoney's. So maybe we can catch up with yall' for coffee or a drink one of these days.
Anybody got plans for the Fourth? Being in the mid-week kinda' goofs it up, but a day off is a day off for most folk.
Any other things going on this month that's interesting?

Thanks David. I hope they will let her go home in a little while, or aleast let her nurse go home with me. (Not for that) Looks like she can cook. LOL. My wife said cooking classes start when her hand heals, and the swelling in my eye goes down. Cooking classes !?
Sorry to hear it Gator, hope you are both back at home soon and she feels better. Cooking classes are not that bad, trust me. you can do it.
David, just going to the inlaws for the 4th. Cooking out and fishing. My father in law has 800+ acres near Natchez with 13 stocked ponds. Hope to come home with an ice chest full of fish...

Boys, I think this thing is working out. When we got home from the hospital, some of her friends, started bringing food. I have field peas and corn bread - fresh peppers. I love the counrty living. If she gets worse, I may get fried chicken. LOL
Oh man will I be so glad when I get back home. I haven't left from MA yet, but the itch to be out of the city is growing every day. I'm tired of hearing airplanes flying overhead going to Logan Intl ever 20 minutes, and I'm tired of hearing the 40+ emergency vehicle sirens per day.
I guess this old country boy just wasn't cut out for city life. I'm just glad I have a very loving fiancee that even though she grew up here, hates all the noise and comotion too. I guess that southern living rubbed off on her. I wish I could have made it to the GTG with you guys, but I know I'll be home soon and I'll catch the next one.
Oh, and if any of you guys that needs someone for tech support, or most anything related to a computer I'm in the market for work. Don't wanna come off as trolling for it, but I really need something when I get home.

Life is not only time……paradoxically, it is the denial of time!
What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.
When you are down...look up...get up...and don't ever give up....
Good morning Mississippi. Knot and Tim how is it going ?
To be honest it isn't going all that badly at the moment. I'm finishing up my final project for this course in my college program. I'm also daydreaming about turning wrenches on my 74 again, and wondering what all I need to do my car before I make that 1500 mile trip back home.
I know for sure it needs o2 sensors, and changing the trans fluid & oil couldnt hurt again. I'm trying to price everything out so that it's just one stop shopping and I can get it all in one fell swoop.
Secondly, I'm concerned about getting a job when I get home. I know I have a couple opportunities available to me that I've been offered since I came up to MA but I've really gotten disenchanted with folks telling me one thing and then doing another. If you can't help me, tell me you can't. Don't say that you can and then don't do anything. Guess its just a pet peeve of mine.
Finally, if I have the $$$ left over once I get home I'm taking myself over to Biloxi and getting some of my IT certifications. I really need to get my A+ and probably a few others. Gonna be pricey as all hell but worth it, maybe that'll finally get my foot in the door somewhere.
I've bored you guys to death enough now... take it easy y'all.

I'm cool. No sawing. Anyone that saws in this weather is crazy, and I don't work for crazy people.
Seriously, the wife is getting new kitchen counter tops Friday, and I have been busy getting everything ready, so I really have been inside in the cool.
It's over to the Cabin tomorrow getting ready for the 4th.
