I have never seen one of the rural carriers in a right hand drive car in my area. The ones in town are all the old chevy based LLV's. Then again I live out where the mosquitos stand flat footed and f**k turkeys so there's not much but tractors going down my road.

Allow me to rant for a second. I was supposed to meet a guy to trade the purple car for a '65 Chevelle. He said, be at the gas station in Morrisville at 7:00 PM tonight. So I was there at 6:45 PM and waited until 8:00PM. he never showed. I left more than a little ticked off. It was over 100 miles round trip for me. A full tank of gas and four hours I'll never get back. I told him on several occasions I DO NOT own a cell phone. After I get home and put the car away, I see an e-mail he left for me to give him a call when I get to the gas station so he can give me directions to his house. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??!!

I emailed him back and let him know how much I appreciated his marvelous communication skills, then I blocked his e-mail address.

Found my new ride, bought her today!

Really excited, found a 1986 Ford f150, ready for a little love!
No rust underneath, 2 owners, 99,000 actual miles, 302 of course,
sweet.
Can't wait to get her restored--

Yay u! I've got a 1986 f150 as well....LOTS of rust, 3 owners, 126,000 miles with the 300 I6 in it...

Technically, I let my in laws borrow it a week or so ago, and I haven't gotten it back yet...but she's still mine.

Congrats, and have fun with it!

All of those that I've seen are fairly standard (left hand drive) strippy govt issue vans...I have seen a few of them, but shouldn't have to drive them.

Well it is the technologically advanced world we live in, if you had a "smart phone" you would of got the email while setting the gas station and then called him.....lol JK.

I know I know, I have the same cell phone from 2003 and do not text or have a internet phone either. But is this day and age you at least have to have a cell phone, even it its a prepaid Walmart/dollar store "Trac" phone.

Yes you are right that guy has ZERO communication skills and should have 100 miles, a tank of gas kicked outa his tail end for 4 hours, what a moron.

Maybe the whole transaction should of been discussed more thoroughly, hang in there brother. Maybe a better deal will come up?

My local mail lady use to drive a Ford 4 door super crew, 1/2 ton 4x4?? little one not a SD, and would middle/reach over from the RIGHT drive, the passenger side was all beat up from misjudging, now she has r/h R/H jeep.

Good Morning Everybody!

NO. I do NOT need a cell phone. I made it 25 years before I got my first one, and all it did was tick me off until I got rid of it.

As far as working the deal out in detail before hand, I'm an Army guy. "Meet me at these coordinates at 1900 hours" is as basic as it gets. I had to give him my phone number 6 times before he called me once. This guy was a real piece of work. Even after sleeping on it, I'm a little mad. I guess I should have my coffee now and calm down a little.

Oh, I'm not sure if I'll be on the internet after Monday. My computer is one of the ones affected by that virus they had on the news. I'm operating in safe mode just to get on the internet as it is. Tiff's power cable went bad for her laptop, so we're just suckin' wind all around when it comes to technology.

You were in the Army? Jk yea I hear ya on the cell phone deal, and don't let other peoples problems or lack of generally being a decent person bother you. You know they all cant be reliable, timely and courteous like US.

I have not head of any new super virus?? And what kind of laptop is it, I have a computer guy that can get just the power supply alot cheaper that the $80 ones at wallymart.

Take a sledge to a piece of scrap metal and calm down.

We bought the laptop at Alltec. They usually have screamin' deals on stuff. We only paid $70 for 16" flat screen monitor.

They weren't really saying much about the virus, mainly because there wasn't anything you could do about it. The FBI put up a temporary fix because the problem was so wide spread, but that fix is being taken down on Monday. They say over 100,000 computers won't be able to log on to the internet on Monday. They have a site you can test your computer on to see if you're one of the ones affected. It's a complicated form of mal-ware. I may just end up with a new computer. It's about time to upgrade anyway. This computer is 5 years old.

Yea I used the same laptop from 2006 to 2010 (+2 tours in Afghanistan) and then when I went to Lithuania it got a (no can go to the internet anymore virus) its like the wifi program and some other stuff just disappeared???

Alltec?? Maybe you can get another power supply from them, have you tried any local computer stores for a universal power supply?

All in all hang in there with it all, ok.
