Yup, he's bad but I bet he can't deal with stones like you've been.

Ugh! The '56 is as done as I'm going to make it. I replaced the carb with an Edelbrock and converted it to electric choke. I came up with an air cleaner and breather. If I feel like it, later on I'll hook up his wolf whistle. ...but otherwise, it's done.

I survived my "ride along" with an experienced RCA today...

A little over three hours sorting mail....a little over four hours delivering mail...

...to nearly 600 addresses....

Wow.

Is your manufacturing experience gonna help you out in this postal gig?

Haven't decided yet...I already see lots of what I would call "inefficiencies" and some steps that I could take to improve the process...

However, I'm WAY too inexperienced to try to implement yet...there may be a REASON that it is being done the way it's being done...

I hope to learn some more next week...

Alan, we're south bound and down in a short time with an oil pan off of a Ford FE 360 engine. I forgot the oil pump shaft, though. I'm thinking sometime Tuesday would work best unless you want to drive down to Branson. Looks like we have plans every day. Tuesday is when we're heading back north.

At some point, we have to drive down and grab it from you. We're going on vacation starting Monday. ...in Branson. We'll be at the Indian Point camp ground by lunch time, I'm guessing. Monday evening or Tuesday morning would be the best to snag it, I'm thinking. I have the pump shaft from my 390, so I should be good. I also have that 352 in the parts truck '66.

I loved the yellow cans of Amp. I usually have two a week. I like to drink them before softball games on tuesday and thursday nights. I get all hopped up on caffeine and THINK my reflexes are better than they are.

Hey (former) Misery neighbors, don't know if I mentioned it yet, but looks like I'll be bock as Gov. Arnie would put it. Just don't have the income here. Not sure yet exactly where I'm gonna land, somewhere in St. Chuck County again I'm sure. Plans are to leave here the 21st A.M. With just me & my clothes, then after I get settled & have enough money, return here for the rest of my stuff & complete the move then.
