Here it is guys..
I will let you know how it turns out, but I am down to 198.
And get this, I am not hungry, and my Gerd isn't acting up.
My wife asked me if I would commit to a diet if she bought the book "Super Shred" written by Ian Smith M.D.
It was something like 18 bucks.
I don't like to read books, (give me the internet all day, but I hate books) So.. I made her read it.
I am on day three, and started at 203, yesterday 201, today 198. I am eating what almost seems like constantly, but I have to be specific how much, and what it is that I am eating. The book says what to eat and gives options. So far I am liking it, but it is a 4 week plan, so I will let you know how I like it after 4 weeks.

Good job, if it works for you, we may have to try it.

I got down to 192 saturday, but went wild this weekend with overeating and overindulging. I am my own worst enemy when it comes to a proper diet. I finished the 30 day book, my options are to learn from it, and continue with its methods, or to start the book over, or say the heck with it, and just try to make wiser choices. time will tell, maybe I will start the book over again in a few weeks.

After not getting anywhere with my last diet I decided to go with what worked for me 5 years ago, cutting out a meal and going to a meal "shake" instead. Fruit smoothie made with frozen fruit, fat-free yogurt, granola, cranberry juice and ice in the morning for breakfast. Meal shake for lunch, and (the hardest part) reasonable portions for supper.
I've been logging my calories on a smartphone app called myfitnesspal where you can scan products and look up existing meals to keep track of your calories during the day. Makes it easier to watch calories when you are logging them in real time.
I want to buy an exercise bike but with all the $$$$$ getting thrown at the CJ at the moment I've been putting it off, maybe I'll bite that bullet soon and get on a daily exercise routine.
With hard work I will hopefully have half the success as the diet-master Curt!

Decided to get a little more serious with this and picked up an exercise bike last night. It conveniently had an 8 week weight loss exercise program built in so I'll be following its daily 30 minute routine. I also knocked my daily calorie counter intake from 2500 to 1500 to kick it up a notch on the calorie intake side. Feeling confident and hoping for some great results in a couple months. Right in time for summer!

Well at this rate, you'll have those beach-abs in no time. Don't forget, you can do a run/bike every other day, starting out, in order to let your leg muscles recover. But you can work your abs every day. They recover the fastest of all your muscles. That will help you cut that fat off your stomach in no time! Also, My daily calorie intake is somewhere in the 5-6k calorie range. I still can't seem to weigh past 170.
Congrats on the initiative! I'm not sure about how you are going about your regimen, but stacker helps as well. my buddy lost a huge chunk of weight in a couple of months.
