Installed some nerf bars..
Installation was 2 bolts per bracket [4] and then 8 bolts to hold the running boards to the brackets. Very simple. Ended up losing one of the washer/nuts in the frame so had to makeshift one of them but took about an hour total for installation when all was said and done with adjustments and such.

This is a buddies Explorer but figured I'd share the pics.
Was 100+ outside today so did it in the warehouse. Wasn't much better!

Well, I understand the newbee truck crowd using the term Nerf Bars to describe side steps/side protectors/running boards, but the true definition of a nerf bar has been around for 40+ years and are typically two bars which take the place of a bumper, installed in the front in place of the bumber brackets at the frame attachment points.....

The truck is awesome. Loaded with so many features.
The nerf bars make it look at lot better in my opinion. Very sturdy and serve as a decent step (although it's not too high up to begin with).
I used the term "Nerf Bars" because that's what the manufacturer calls them. Take it up with them not meh!
