I have 2 F-150's. Both are equiped with 300 6cyl engines, 5 speed manual transmissions. One of them is an 89 that is 4x4, and the other is a 95 2 wheel drive. I would rather keep the 89, so i am taking some parts out of the 95 when i can. Does anyone know if the fuel pump out of the rear tank will be compatable with the same of the 89?
No, the '89 uses a low pressure in-tank fuel pump whereas the '95 uses a high pressure in-tank fuel pump. Ford switch to a different fuel system in 1990 IIRC.

Correct. The older ones have a low pressure pump in each tank, which pump the fuel out to a high pressure pump on the frame rail. The 95 has a high pressure pump in each tank.
