Ok looking into gauges and pods only thing is that i want four gauges oil pressure, egts, trans temp, boost. i would like two on pillar and two on dash the pillar pod isnt a problem to find just can find a good dual pod for on the dash.

Also looking to send in injectors to be upgraded to 165's dont really need much more than that with stock turbo am i right? also looking to find a place to get a cheap ts with canned tunes cause i know it can be re burned for 100 bucks.

Correct me if I am wrong about anything I am thinking above Im new to the diesel world but very mechanically inclined like others have said if it isnt under warranty ill fix it myself.

I have access to paint i can get dupont chroma base and clear from work for 50 bucks a gallon any color even reds i priced it for a half gallon of two colors and clear with all activators and hardeners with sand paper scuff pad tape and plastic all that for 175 bucks just cant decide on what colors to use

And is your pod black im really wanting to find tan pods which is hard all else fails i can paint pods with interior paint to match stock.

Would 165 injectors be a good upgrade from stock and what kind of price is jim runnin for rebuilding my stockers to that

Canned tunes will be bad for your trans.

Call or email Jim his budget bud starts at 500. Any bad parts are extra

I'd do Jim's stage 1.5 they are 160cc with 30% nozzles

 

Well the PO put new stock injectors in less than two years before i bought it so they should be good parts there

And why are canned tunes bad for tranny dumb question but new to these beasts well mines not yet kinda seems like a putts my 5 speed stock neon would smoke it lol

 

Not that i want them to spin but the dually wont even chirp the tires lol

 

Most canned tunes have the line pressure so hight that they just slam gears

 

If you're on a budget, buy gauges from GlowShift on eBay. Best bang for the buck. And if anything ever happens to them, just upgrade to Autometers! Gauges are sold separate and in kits with pillars and pods.
