I got to this party a little, but just went to The local AutoZone and bought a SGII. Can anyone PM me that list of codes or give me a link to find it? Thanks.

Too bad the I scan gauge doesn't look like torque andriod app. That program is easier to use & look at the gauge data, if its accurate...

As further proof of my ignorance, it took me a while to find out how to pick up a PM. Finally got it, thanks for the info.

Anybody got any mounting pics? Not seeing a really good place for the monitor. Any tips to modify a spot or get a mount?

There's a guy that started a thread a few days ago....he makes mounts at work. $25.00 shipped.
Here's the thread:
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...unts-left.html

The pics he shows are of the first production, the reason I know is he sent me updated photos after I questioned the uneven shape of the edges. The new ones are symmetrical and nice.......novel idea but not sure how I want to mount this thing yet.....If you want one PM him

Good Luck

******BTW I had an important question******

I have only one OBD port as you all do. The scangauge utilizes the OBD port. I do not have a splitter and I use an SCT with Matt's tunes. Once I unplug the SGII use my SCT and plug the SGII back in, does the SGII lose it's settings and I have to enter all the stuff again?

Thanks for the time
Joe

i have two ports.

there is a Y cord for the OBDII port that allows you to hook up
two fully functioning devices.

$16 or so on amaz00dle....

Check your EOT equation:

Try this one:

(((A*256)+B)/100)-40

SET UNIT: *C

I know it sounds strange to place the unit as C, but your truck settings are set at F, it does convert it correctly. (that was passed along from Ian, the developer of the app on His forums page)

I have compared mine to SGII and they run the same readings in all the gauges Torque APP has.

But, so you guys know, it's my SGII that runs daily, I just got tired of setting up the phone each time I head to work. Long trips, you bet, the phone is running. The Torque APP does a better job scanning codes.

I found out that the SGII does not play well
with others.I got one of the Y-cables .
I had my Garmin ecoRoute HD plugged
in with the SGII and the SGII would
lock-up on the temp displays.
I found out that as soon as I removed
the Garmin ecoRoute HD the SGII would work
after a key off and restart. The Garmin ecoRoute HD
did not seem to have any problems.

An SCII was the first thing I bought for my truck. It's a must on these motors and helped me discover that I had a plugged oil cooler. For about $150, it's money well spent.
