428 crankshaft
Im going to check out this crank, cylinder head and block. the crank has to be a 1U right?? what's your opinion? what parts and casting nubers should I be looking for? apparently this block was supposed to go into a 74 f250..but the owner passed away so the wife is selling everything...she's asking $15,000 for the truck!

Yeah 1u crank. But more uncommon it could have a 1uA or 1uB. Police interceptor,cobra jet and super cobra jet

Look for head castings starting with c7,c8 . Doesn't mean anything just could be a clue to the crank being original and in the right 1967,68 years.
