66 F100 wiring diagram problems
Im new and don't have much for mechanical skills, but am trying. I bought a 66 custom cab 3 on the tree 352 a couple months ago and the carb leaked gas, which is fixed, and had no rear brake lights or blinkers. A friend whom is a diesel mechanic was asking about the truck and I told him the problems. Well he came by when I wasn't home and started ripping off wires to taillights. Now I have major problems, he tore ignition switch apart without writing down where wires went, or taking pics, and has all the lights out of instrument panel. It's been this way for a month and a half. I am getting frustrated and can't afford a new wiring kit. Could somebody please email me a diagram or manual. Slosserjeremy@yahoo.com

First and foremost, welcome to the Family of Ford Truck Enthusiast!! Posting a couple of the primary wiring circuits may find helpful. I found the manual extremely helpful when it came to tracking down electrical gremlins, may want to consider purchasing majority of the Ford parts suppliers carry them, or directly from the source for $7; Jim Osborn reproductions. I found many of the electrical problems were due to poor gound connections. Took all the ground connections on the 65 and cleaned the surface then added a dap of dielectric grease and made sure the ground connections were secure. Also added dap of the dielectric grease to the harness connectors. There are kits, or reproduction harnesses but when short on funds that can hold for another day. Again, welcome to FTE, looking forward to your input and post pic's if and when you can!.
