CEL help

so i have a 1990 f350 with a 460 and a e4od i bought the truck a year ago it needed a new transmission. i noticed while the old transmission was in the cel light would quickly blink and turned off. so i replaced the transmission with one that was rebuilt by ford. it works great and shifts like it should no hard shifts or anything but the cel light would still blink i was thinking it could be the torque converter as when going up some hills itll go into a lower ger so higher rpms then it seems like it bounce around through the gears and depending on how hard the acceleration is the cel light is on. ive tried to pull codes and theres nothing at all. i want to get this problem fixed so any help will be appreciated

heres a video of the cel light blink truck is in park

this is while driving the truck you can see rapid changes in the rpms sorry its shaky

I just recently bought my truck and got a pretty good deal on it because the previous owner was told the trans or torque convcerter was bad. So I bought it, it was doing the exact same thing as yours. After searching several forums the concensus was to replace the Throttle position sensor. I figured what the heck, for $40 I will try it. No more random shifhing of the transmission. If I were you I would give it a try. As for the CEL mine does the same thing and I was told todo a key on engine running code check. But I have been too busy at work and it is too hot out to worry about it as my F250 is not my daily driver. And when you are buying the TPS also pick up a ne throttle body gasket as you have to pull it off the intake to change the TPS

glad it worked out. Like I said $40 sure beats $1500. So i take it it also cleared up the random shifting?
