I've got about 600 miles on my new 2012, well 600 pampered miles, just driving it to work or errands. Now yesterday I started hearing this strange noise from the driver side wheel well to underneath, right under the drivers feet.
It sounds like a whine, like a hydrualic pump makes when it's cavitating. Tranny pump? Steering pump? Worse?

No codes, no leaks...

Any ideas?

Is the truck doing anything weird other than the noise?

 

I'm at 900 miles and heard the same thing once. Have you noticed the front drivetrain feel wobbly going over rough roads or railroad tracks?

 

Yes a little, something aint right. It shifts bizarre too, but I have no experience with these automatics.

 

I'm taking my truck in next week. I think there's something fishy myself, it didn't act this way until a few days ago

 

My steering feels loose at times, like there is play in some of the steering joints like in my old truck. What do you mean by wobbly?
