Hi:
It is a Tanks aftermarket gas tank we mounted under the bed where the spare tire used to hang and it is ONLY 1/2" below the bed floor. Someone said to hide it in a stake pocket. Maybe I can try that unless someone knows a better place to locate this thing

Check with the off-road folks, they do this all the time. Here is just one vent/valve that I found after a quick search..MOPAR Fuel Tank Vent Valve - J5360058
