want to make my f250 a f350
since day one i have been very dissapointed in the f250 rear end. it squats very bad under little load. just wondering if anyone has the f350 blocks and leaf springs they would be willing to sell. or maybe where i can find good after market parts to make this change to my truck. thanks!

i have also considered that, but dont really want to pay the big $$ for a good set with an air compressor and the whole 9 yards. also i have been pointed towards the timbrens, but havent heard first hand from someone that actually has them on their truck if they actually work that well or not. see i dont mind the looks of the 350 and how the rear end sits higher, unlike the 250 where it sets basically level. i just called a leaf spring manufacturer here in ohio, they said they could make me 2 rear leaf springs for $130, installed $260 that would add 600-700lbs of added support and raise the rear end roughly an inch. im just trying to find the cheapest way out haha

I just added the AirLift air bags to the back of my F250, cost $300 from etrailer.com and then $50 rebate from AirLift, so $250 total for much more flexibility than heavier leaf springs. I am very happy with the results, the support I need towing and the ride I want empty.
Best of luck with your decision.

but that will likely make the ride stiffer unloaded. I too bought a 250 and wish I had gone 350 instead. I just put f350 rear blocks on my truck and for the load I pull its been ok with that. the remote control airbags would be the ideal setup but the stock 350 setup works pretty darn good too having the same ride stiffness as a 250 but more spring once it reaches a certain point.

I have a set of 4" rear block w/ U-bolts/nuts. Slightly larger (1/4") than the OEM 350 blocks and are cast with bump stop just like the factory blocks.
Used 6 months and I decided to go to a 5" block.

I realized with my latest 5er that an F350 might have been a better answer ... but I've got to second those above that you'd really like the airbags. I added them and they solved my problem of squat and ride didn't suffer but got better. I don't have the onboard compressor and it's not that big of a deal to check and keep them inflated. Of course I'd like to change them on the fly from the cab but for the money the manual method is better than nothing. Now I can set the ride height as I like according to load.

I have the same problem with a sagging rear end. Have any of use this Vehicle Suspension Kits - Timbren Suspension Enhancement Systems instead of air bags. My local frame and axle guy recommended them to me. There are supposed to be here tomorrow. They are rubber and go in place of the axle stops. Doing a lot of heavy towing this week end, hopefully I can get them install before I go. I will give you update when I get back
