The ScanGaugeII is very easy to install AND the best $160 I've spent on my '05. Without it, I would've never known how far apart my ECT/EOT deltas were. And that could've been catastrophic if I had've kept towing my 5er without changing my Oil Cooler. Just plug it into the OBDII port at the bottom of the dash right above the gas pedal, follow the directions for loading the codes and you're good to go.I velcroed the gauge on the plastic part of the dash right underneath the headlight switch.

The SGII comes with some preprogrammed gauges. You have to program the other 24 that you want and they all have positions they can be programmed in. The SGII will start with X gauge #24 and display them from #24 down to #1 AFTER the preprogrammed gauges. If you program your Xgauges in alphabetical order (starting with Xgauge #24) it's easier to find them.

For example: Xgauge #24 would be boost, #23 would be EOT, #22 would be FICM, #22 would be MAP.

I think you'll understand what I mean after you start trying to program it.

You will love it! and you need it with the 6.0

Amazon.com, also buy the "blendmount" so you can install above
the rear-view mirror and run the cable down the A-piller.
Just goggle "blendmount scangauge2"

The blendmount comes with the longer cable and mounting bracket.

Hey guys Im a new 6.0 owner and was wondering about the H&S mini maxx tuner and SG2. Does the H&S have the ability to monitor the same sensors and gauges as the SG2? I was seeing if by having the H&S it would keep me from having to buy the SG2 as well. Thanks for the help before i make these purchases!

Odds are the SGII will get alot more gauges than the tunner you talk about

I haven heard of the H&S tunner you mention but SGII sees all the PCM sees on the moter and some trans stuff

For what it is SGII is Best Deal going IMO

The next best scanner would be AE with Ford Enhanced Bundle

Ok thanks guys the sgII is on the list. Another question, I have a sct sf3 tuner that I bought for my 2010 mustang a couple years ago. Is it possible that I can use the tuner for my 06 f250 6.0? If so what are the best tunes to get for it? Thanks a ton

Yes that SCT tunner should work

Get a tune for a NON STUDDED truck unless you have ARP headstuds

I'm bummed that the device is still married to my mustang that is no longer mine! I'm assuming that I will have to send it back to sct to unlock it?
